Hey everyone!

My name is Teresa and I am a hairstylist here at Lisa Dinh Hair Studio!

Before starting my hair career, I studied at the University of Toronto and graduated with a  Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. At the time, I thought I wanted to pursue a career as a physical therapist but after having work placements in the field, I just felt that it wasn’t the right fit for me.

I have always been an artistic individual so I wanted a career that was hands on and where I could express my creativity. I have always loved the beauty industry but I didn’t consider a career in hair until I had my very own hair transformation at Lisa Dinh Hair Studios with Lisa Dinh herself! I was only in my 2nd year of university when Lisa transformed my hair from orange, brassy ends to a beautiful, ash blonde. It was crazy to me that something as simple as change in hair color can have such a big impact on an individual. I loved the way she made me feel and it sparked a crazy thought that maybe I can do it too. From that moment on, pursuing a career in hair had always been on my mind.

After I graduated from UofT, I enrolled into a hair program at the Fiorio Beauty Academy where I learned the fundamentals of cutting, coloring and styling. I loved learning about color and decided that it was what wanted to specialize in. My favourite type of work to do are dimensional colors that give a natural and lived-in look - sometimes the smallest changes can have the biggest impact!

Some extra fun facts about me:

• I’m a coffee addict and have worked part-time at 4 different coffee shops 

• I am a board game geek so you can always find me at board game cafes

• I am obsessed with corgis and I want to be a future dog mom
