Hello!

My name is April Ly and I was born and raised in the small city of Peterborough, Ontario. I moved to Toronto straight out of high school to pursue a degree in life sciences at the University of Toronto. After completing my bachelor's degree, I felt unmotivated to find a career in my field, so I decided to attend the Donato Academy of Hairstyling. I absolutely loved it, and from there I knew I wanted to make a career out of hair and the beauty industry. I am so excited to have found my place in a salon full of inspiring, and talented hairstylists!

Aside from hair, I love spicy food, health and fitness, and video games!
